Online Audio Spaces Update: New Features for Virtual Event Organizers
It’s been about 8 weeks since we launched High Fidelity’s new audio spaces in beta. We really appreciate all the support, particularly if you have ...
It isn’t a high-end audio product, or a cool movie, but it does have audio inside it, and you may be able to watch movies there some day. High Fidelity was started to solve big problems, and to work on big ideas. Our mission is to create a new kind of virtual reality platform. We’ll tell you more about it here in the coming days, as we intend to be quite open about what we are building and why, as well as to recruit your help in building it.
We’re embarking on what we think is one of the biggest adventures ever: an incredibly difficult set of technical challenges that, if solved, can have a huge impact on the world. We can all code, design, write elegantly, and (on a good day) make coffee. We know how to build apps, executables, hardware and software. We like to solder, saw, and weld. We enjoy debate, openness, finding creative solutions, and making rapid progress.
Your Help Needed
We’re hiring. Right now we are looking for one additional full time graphics engineer to join the table with our team of 6 at our office here in San Francisco. We also have a number of smaller part-time jobs listed at Worklist.net, and most of our source code is openly browsable to make it easy to quickly help us. If you’re a developer, web programmer or designer, take some time to browse these jobs for the application itself or browse these jobs to help out on our website and please join us!
